4This illuminator glides on well, smells lovely and doesn’t irritate my eyes if I get it too close to them. I use it under my bb cream to take away the Matt look and it seems to work

5Definitely my favourite new primer. Love the way it just melts in to my skin without that greasy feeling and gives my skin a lovely glow. I tend to use my under foundation but find it lovely on its own too. Will definitely be buying again.

5I adore this primer . I use it daily and just follow with either BB CREAM or Bronzer . Absolutely no reaction on my very sensitivity skin which was my main concern . Have re ordered as never want to run out 😉

1I was looking a cruelty free alternative to the Laura Mercier Illuminating Primer (which is not cruelty free but is fragrance free). I saw an add for this and thought it looked promising - it’s cruelty free, it’s an illuminating primer and no fragrance is listed in the ingredients on the website. However, upon reading the reviews, I noticed a few people commenting that it smells nice. So, thought I’d investigate further but speaking to one of the customer service reps on Notes live chat. They confirmed that it is fragrance free and that any smells in the product are naturally occurring from the other ingredients, so I went ahead and bought. However, when the product arrived, I could tell that it is actually HEAVILY fragrances with artificial parfum and it is actually listed an ingredients on the packaging (but not the website?!) I have really sensitive skin (and spend far too much on my skincare and SPF for it to be compromised by fragrance in my makeup) so I cannot use this. I did try it on a patch of my face and it does look like it could be a really good illuminating primer but due to the fragrance I instantly came out in blotches. Not a lot of money but still a waste. If you’re not fussed by fragrance, go for it! With sensitive skin at 30, I cannot
